"Roadhouse Blues" is a song by the Doors from their 1970 album Morrison Hotel. It was released as the B-side of "You Make Me Real", and it charted on its own, reaching No. 76 on the Cash Box Top 100. Here is my cover of it with the Yazoo Ramblers, which I posted to the channel on June 23, 2026.
It became a concert staple for the band, and sound engineer Bruce Botnick called it "the all-time American bar band song".
Why I picked it
A driving song.
