"Honky Tonk Women" is a song by the Rolling Stones, released as a non-album single in July 1969 in the UK and a week later in the US. It topped the charts in both countries. Here is my cover of it with the Yazoo Ramblers, which I posted to the channel on June 25, 2026.
A country blues version called "Country Honk" later appeared on Let It Bleed. The song is on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list and in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Why I picked it
If you can't country honk, then you'll have to honky tonk.
